Babies are wired to be in their parents’ arms. When they arrive in this world all they know and understand is YOU. We'll capture the way they sleep perfectly in your arms, the way you breathe them in, and all the love and closeness from the ones who love them so much. The joy of lifestyle newborn photography is that we don't pose your baby or need them to be asleep. We allow plenty of time for snuggles and feeding and love, all in the coziness of your home.
When it comes to lifestyle photography, there are no rules or restrictions about the best age for newborn photos. If you want photos that focus on the small details from delicate skin to tiny feet, and if you love sleepy baby images, then the first 2 weeks after birth is ideal.
If you prefer some time to settle in at home, plan photos for when you baby is 2-4 weeks old. This still allows us to capture those fleeting first memories of life with your new baby. But, it also gives you a chance to catch your breath a bit before your session
For more alert photos of your baby, schedule your session between 6-12 weeks after birth. By six weeks, your baby may be sleeping less and staring into your eyes with the purest of love. As moms ourselves, those are among our favorite newborn photos to capture because we know how special and fleeting those moments feel.

The joy of our relaxed lifestyle newborn photography is that we don’t pose your baby, nor do we bring a ton of props. We'll capture snuggles and cuddly moments in the coziness of your home, as well as details like tiny feet and hands. Our sessions are scheduled with plenty of time for stunning and heartfelt images.

If you are wanting newborn photos within the first 2 weeks, we will book for your due date as we are not quite sure when your baby will be here. You will then contact us when your baby is here to schedule actual session date and time.
