Being a The Woodlands family photographer is a dream come true. Photography is so much more than photos to me. I love being able to capture memories, details and all the emotions within authentic moments for you to cherish forever. I am so happy you are here, and cannot wait to get to know you more! If you are looking for someone to document the beauty of your family, I’m your girl! This is a little about me, Maria Grace Photos, and the joy that brought me to love all things photography!
I come from a small town outside London, England. My childhood was spent barefoot, climbing trees (occasionally falling out of them), and walking everywhere. It was nature-filled, and I loved every moment of it. While studying to become an elementary school teacher, I met my future husband at a summer camp in the US. We got married in England and the very next day I was on a plane moving across the world. Talk about a new adventure!
Since moving from my home in England, I have become a mother to three little Texans – Thea, Rowan, and Remy. They are my passion, my joy, and it was with them that my love for photography grew. Initially, I used a basic camera to preserve every single detail of my daughter. I captured every “outfit of the day” and every first to share our world with our English family. That eventually turned into so much more than just capturing everyday outfits! It turned into my passion. I want to give families those same memories to hold onto for a lifetime!
I have a habit of trying one million different hobbies, diving right in, and getting bored a few months later. Think crochet, card making, digital painting, DIY house decor, coloring, you name it, I have probably tried it. But photography stole my heart from the very beginning. Eight years later, I now get to do exactly what I did with my daughter but for YOU. Capturing each little detail that you want to remember forever.
More about me?! I love home decor. Sign me up for all the estate sales and Facebook marketplace finds! In my home, you’ll find a mix-and-match of new and old things to go with all my plants. There isn’t an angle of my house you can look at without seeing at least 5 plants. I have upwards of 200 houseplants! So, if you don’t quite have a green thumb, I’ve got some tips and tricks for you!
I know how important it is to capture your family. Time goes by in the blink of an eye, and our babies are growing faster than we want. Photography freezes the moments and gives us a way to be transported back to that exact moment. Enough about me, I can’t wait to meet you and hear the story of your sweet family! If you are looking for someone to authentically capture your family, let’s chat!
